Looking

Looking for love, I found wisdom; 
I found joy, I found peace. 
Looking for love, I found hope 
That I could find it and my searching cease. 
Looking for love I found my strength, 
in the God whose mercies are new each day. 
I found my place to be with the Lord, 
and found that He is with me more and more. 
Yes looking for love I found God, 
but looking back I'm not dissapointed; 
God is love and He made me His, 
forgave me and made me His annointed. 
All that I found when looking for love 
is that love is not something you find all alone. 
Love is of God and has many components, 
so looking for love may you make it your own.
